Former associate of director Keyar, Jayaprakash debutes as director with 'Woo', produced by SS Vasan of F1 Studios. The flick is filming currently, and is anticipated to be one of the most grand victories of 2013. The film has Richard, Aishwarya and Vidhya of Mollywood fame in the lead. A magnificent set had been erected at a cost of 75 Lakhs, in the AVM Studios; this has reduced the shootig schedule of 15 days to 11 days. The set was erected by the hard work of about 500 artisans and workers, in 15 days. Cooperation and dedication of the actors, in completing the shooting, was appreciated. The director considers himself lucky to have had a highly cooperative team, and philanthropic producer, who has offered to make the movie a big budget hit.
Comedy track in the movie is carried by MS Baskar, in a slightly cynical characterization, along with Alva Vasu. A calculation-based comedy, is likened to the banana-based comedy sequence from 'Karagattakaran', and is touted to be reminisced for many years to come. Music for the movie has been composed by Satheesh Chakravarthi of 'Leelai' fame; he was a former associate of AR Rahman. A melody by Shreya Ghoshal is one of the most awaited tracks in the album, and all songs are touted to become chart busters. Steps have been choreographed to the foot-tapping numbers, by Radhika and Shobi. While Rasamadhi, famous poet Arivumadhi's son, cranks the camera, editing is done by Gopi Krishna of 'Vazhakku En 18/9' fame.
