Vishwaroopam 2

The first part was a phenomenal success, with the movie creating waves even now. Everyone was excited to know that a sequel was to be released, for 'Vishwaroopam'. On constant updates, it has been reported that the film is gearing up very quickly. The proof of the pudding is here - 'Vishwaroopam 2' will hit the screens on August 15th, this year, across 3000 theatres, all around the globe! Seems like we don't have to wait too long. The news was declared by one of the executive producers of the movie, VTV Ganesh. He also said that the film has been created in a budget of Rs. 50 crores, as a portion of the film was already shot during the canning of the first part.

It was rather quizzical as to why the portions where Andrea appears, in the first part, did not seem to have high importance. The team says that this doubt will be clarified in the sequel, 'Vishwaroopam 2', which will explore the depth of her character. The movie is set on the backdrop of India, unlike 'Vishwaroopam' that predominantly focused on the terrains of Afghanistan.

Nayan Dances for Kuththu Song in 'Ethir Neechal'

'Sathiyama Nee Enaku Thevaiyillai' is how the song penned down by director Durai Senthil for his upcoming flick 'Ethir Neechal' opens. Nayanthara, who usually does not accept offers to do special songs, except like 'Balleilaka' from 'Sivaji', had given a nod to perform in this kuththu song from the film that stars Siva Karthiyan, Priya Anand and Nandita in the lead.

The director, a former associate of stalwart directors Vetri Maaran and Balu Mahindra, was quizzed about the song, to which he replied "The song was excellently composed by Anirudh. We designed a set to resemble a highway motel, in Nagercoil. In the night-like settings, the song was shot over a three-day span." But how did the glam doll nod to do this special performance? It was none other than the producer of the movie, Dhanush, who convinced her to do the number! Incidentally, Dhanush also plays a cameo in the film.
